Organisation Supports Persons with Disabilities in Mangochi

Monday , 11th April, 2023, Mama Amina Foundation in collaboration with Knowledge is Light (UK) donated items to people with disabilities in Mangochi district.

Mama Amina Foundation's Executive Director Maulana Abubaker Panchi told Muslim Media Agency that the organisation reached out to over 100 needy people in the district.

"We have donated wheelchairs and blankets to these brothers and sisters who disabled. We expect that these items will ease some of their challenges," Panchi told Muslim Media Agency.

The beneficiaries in the district have commended the organisation for the donation.

The organisation made a similar donation in Balaka district. Mama Amina Foundation used 8 million Kwacha to bankroll the initiative.
